On July 15, China's first independently developed intelligent heavy-haul integrated inspection train was first put into service on the Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway run by CHN Energy.
Serving as a “doctor” for railway facilities, the vehicle features intelligent detection of infrastructure operation status, risk identification, and safety warnings. It provides technical support for safe operation and maintenance of the railway.
The inspection train boasts three cutting-edge technologies which are applied for the first time in China: comprehensive application of second-generation inspection technology, dynamic load-carrying platform, and vehicle-to-ground interaction. The train is equipped with over ten state-of-the-art inspection technologies, including rail flaw detection, track, communication signals, and catenary systems, ensuring multi-dimensional intelligent inspection of heavy-haul railway infrastructure.
Compared to the first-generation inspection technology, this vehicle is additionally equipped with functions such as human-machine intelligent interaction, unmanned intelligent inspection, and panoramic real-time display, analysis, and identification of railway infrastructure and its environment. It enables centralized control and status monitoring of the entire inspection system, automatic data collection, and the simultaneous or cross-sectional correlation display and comparative analysis of inspection data. This significantly enhances inspection efficiency and accuracy.
